You can really see Booth & Hayes influence on Groves. He's got the same loose style then loads up.

What kinda opponent could you envision Groves competing with? Is he at 168?

 

Groves did really well in that round.

This guy is very good. It's nice to see someone look relaxed in the ring. He punches very accurately.

 

I hope they do move Groves quickly. I never see the point of a fighter having his record padded with cans when they're clearly better than that.

There is a lot of good footage of Groves sparring on YouTube, against Domenico Spada and a heavyweight too.

tough opponent but Groves looks excellent, not much defence but his punches were coming from everywhere... looking forward to seeing more of him

 

Seems a wise head on Groves as well, no trash talking like a lot of his fellow prospects at the mo.

 

Good stoppage. He's got the personality to go with his talent. Figures crossed for him.
