Same here, last time I saw him he looked as though he had genuine one-punch KO power. I'll be intrigued to see if this trend continues or whether it was a one-off thing.
Groves looked like a class act. He was patient, boxed and moved well and once he picked up the scent he was clinical. I liked his efficiency too, he didnt waste many punches. Jeffries and Billy Joe Saunders could learn from Groves performance tonight, as they were a bit reckless and untidy with their recent efforts in trying (unsucessfully) to take out tough journey men. Cant wait to see Groves in action again, he is fighting in 3 weeks time, what bill is that and I wonder if it will be on Sky? Sky's domestic coverage is excellent at the moment, not only was tonight's bill an excellent one, but we have quite a few more good Friday Nights to come.
Good news: Jon-Lewis Dickinson wasn't shown. Bad news: Travis Dickinson wasn't shown. Anyone know how they got on? Also, Booth and Groves were quality.
the FNF's season ended a few weeks ago (clinton vs Cloud bill was officially the last, although there was a special latin card headed by rigondeaux a couple weeks later) it won't be back til jan/feb of 010
Booth boxed well he is peaking. Maloney is not interested in him fighting Munroe but perhaps he will pit him in with Paul Hyland. How did Jeffries get on tonight I missed his fight! as for McEwan - How about McEwan V Barker?
