This fight isnt very far away from being a world title fight. Any thoughts who takes it?
Will never happen mate both Maloney fighters and both good friends. If it did come down to it i think Munroe outworks him on a UD would be a nice fight though.
Don't think this fight will happen. They were both asked about it a few months back and Maloney said they are friends and he will keep them apart. If the fight did go ahead, I think Munroe would get a decision. Booth was shite in his last fight and was very lucky to come away with a victory. How do you think it will be a world title fight? Neither are on world level. I'd be very surprised if Munroe managed to beat Nishioka.
Beat me to it, i was going to write a similar post, Munroe would take this though i genuinly think he is world class, just such a gap between domestic and world level when it comes to his weight class
Na im not saying Munroe wil defo be world champ but hes got one more eliminator than a title fight. Meanwhile Booths following the same path and not far behind him. About to take the european so not very far fetched at all.
To be honest mate if munroe wants to make a move he needs to make it now. The division is slowly but surely emptying out the cream of the crop. Caballero, Juanma are moving out, Rafa and Izzy are moving aswell i think. Munroe needs to take this chance because it won't be long until he struggles to make this weight. Still some solid fighters there though.
Yea good point maloney would try to avoid it. Hes let Munroe vacate the euorpean and go after world and for Jason to pick up where he left off. I know Rendall would start favourite but i just really like Booth. He knows every trick in the book and altho he boxed **** in his last fight i think he'd rise to the occassion and we'd see a cracking fight. Hope this fight happens!
