I was looking through some old fighters records and Welshman Jason Cook apparently had a fight earlier this month... Is he making a comeback? This ones for the Brits/ Welsh to answer.
Yes, he was on the undercard of a recent Sky FFN. He looked fairly poor until he completely sparked his opponent.
I always had a soft spot for him for some reason, his knockout loss to Trevor Smith was HILARIOUS though. He's a little old for this imo.
The left hook he hit scott jordan with was a peach and he obviously still has "the power" but he has no business at light middleweight what so ever
light middle? probably cant make lightweight anymore? I remember two absolutely beautiful overhand rights he landed on some guy, not wild haymakers but brilliant overhand rights absolutely flush. A few of his KOs are on those 101 great british knockout DVDs I have. If any of you don't have them, they sell them in HMV over here but not sure about Britain, a lot of good knockouts on them including from the guy in my avatar.
Yeah he looked quite big around 150lbs which is a competitive domestic division, unless he can lose about 10lbs he'll struggle to make much of an impact. Is there any chance you can upload that DVD. I put up a post a few weeks ago looking for the name of a British boxer on it but couldnt find out who it was
I'm not sure how to, what prgramme do I need? somebody did a while ago on youtube but the *******s removed it. Do you remember any details about the boxer or the fights he was in on the dvd? perhaps I can remember or check for you.
The boxer in question would knock out his opponent and then do some kind of a silly dance over the top of them when they were on the canvas. was quite a big guy, maybe Cruiser or Heavy and must of been quite successful as they had about 3 clips of him knocking different opponents out then dancing over the top of them. The clips looked like they were from the late 90s. I thought it might have been John McDermott or Darren Corbett but i have looked at their past fights and it doesnt seem to be them.
Yeah thats Corbett on my avatar, he would strut around the ring. One KO where he hits a guy on the tempe, his legs go andh e collapses and Corbett does a little jig lol. He was one of the features on the dvd so they had a few of him, Eubank and guys like Richard Evatt and Georgie Smith(in jail for battering a pensioner to death now) were also featured Ill try and upload them soon for you guys, some of the KOs are just too good to miss, especially Corbetts lol. There were two dvds, the second one has a lot of the SKY knockouts and IBO title matches.

Tomorrow i'll get whatever programme is needed to upload dvds and ill get them on. Shouldn't be too hard to find, just don't have the time right now.
