Tete’s jab was superb. I was enjoying that so much, I didn’t want it to end. I thought it could have been one of them were someone’s face is absolutely messed up by the middle rounds from somebody throwing not much other than great jabs. Often neglected shot but when used like that it’s gorgeous.
Tete is sometimes wrongly derided because he's lost a few but they've been to very good opposition and he has one defeat in nearly 10 years, to a prime version of Casimero. Hats off to Cunningham for giving it a go but it was always going to be a huge ask.
Remember the stunned silence when Butler got knocked out by him. I don’t even think the pundits had a clue about how good he was.
