    Dear Chris,

Congratulations on your win last weekend against Chazz Whitherspoon. I honestly didn’t agree with the referee’s decision to disqualify Chazz. Hell, I really wasn’t impressed by anything you did.

I think it’s time for us to determine who America’s top heavyweight prospect is. There’s been a lot of hype about you being the “Nightmare,” but you’ve never fought anybody quite like “Big Six.”

Chris, I had an understanding that if Chazz had beaten you, he was going to fight me next. I am going to be world heavyweight champion and I’m willing and able to fight anybody who is in my way, including you, Chris. I’m calling you out, brother. I know you want to be heavyweight champ, too, so try and go through me instead of taking the easy way out.

I’ve been minding my business, fighting anybody my promoter Jimmy Burchfield has put in front of me. None of them have had a losing record and the combined record of my opponents when they fought me is 203-73-9. Nine of your 24 opponents had losing records, 256-180-21 overall. There are a lot of cupcakes and tomato cans on your resume. My opponents had a winning percentage of 71-percent, yours is only 56-percent. Can you spell PROTECTED?

I’ve sat back and watched other so-called prospects like you fighting stiff after stiff. And somehow the media has bought into you being the “Nightmare” because you’ve knocked out so many of these guys. You’re a strong club-fighter, that’s it, at least until you beat somebody like me, a boxer whose skills you’ve never been in against.

I have one loss on my record because I was willing to fight in the other guy’s (Travis Walker) hometown. He had 20 pro fights, I only had six, and I hurt my shoulder early in the fight. Yet, I still almost pulled off a victory.

I’m ready to fight you to prove I’m America’s No. 1 heavyweight hope. Chris, let’s make it happen. All of the top rated heavyweights are tied up for months, anyway. Who’s out there for you other than more ready-made opponents?

Styles make fights and fans always love to watch a puncher like you fight a boxer like me. Supposedly, I can’t punch, so just get into the ring with me and find out what I have -- great whiskers and the fastest hands in our division.

You’re supposed to be the “Nightmare.” Try and scare me; I dare you, Chris.

    Sincerely,

    Jason “Big Six” Estrada

    First of all, lol.

Estrada blamed his loss to Walker as a hometown decision. No, it's because he came in as a fatass, he clearly lost that fight.

If Estrada seriously thinks he's America's number one hope then he is seriously deluded. First of all he should think about training seriously (arreola could benifit from this too.) He should spend less time calling out people with big wins are their resume (relatively speaking) and concentrate on doing something about his own resume...like, I don't know...beat Walker in a rematch.

I like the fact that Estrada is on the fast track and not being protected like most prospects but the problem is that he is also on the Fast Food.I think he has some ability but to me he's no more than a poor man's Eddie Chambers, just a little softer.
Arreola has nothing to gain by fighting Estrada at this time, he has bigger fish to fry

I agree with all of your post. Estrada has a better winning percentage though because he beat an very inactive and virtually done Mount Whitaker.

whether Goofi was done or not i did not see any other prospects looking to fight him - other than Povetkin Estrada has the best resume of the young heavyweights( < 20 fights)

I don't think he's anything special but if he gets in shape he could pose a few problems to some of the big boys.

I like this fight, nice clash of styles between two young heayweights. Both need to concentrate more on their conditioning and like someone said Arreola is probably in position to land something bigger than Estrada. But if it ever came off it could be interesting.

Jason Estrada should probably be fighting at cruiser weight. But honestly I like medium sized heavyweights, I can't stand the Klitcko's and the Valuev's at all...So ****n big.

you don't think jason has asked for that rematch?? travis won't take it! and as far as jason being lazy or out of shape this kid has stepped up his raing like crazy and it has shown in his last few fights he really is doin a good job at managing his weight he will be making noise very soon he just needs these guys to stop ducking him.his ko's should be reason enough for them to take the fights but still they always say no why is that??

I thik Solis KOs the both of them.

As to this fight, I think Arreola sees himself as having bigger fish to fry than the already beaten Estrada. Arreola won't want to sidestep by fighting him. He's just beaten Witherspoon, so Estrada would not be a step up, at all.

If he asked for the rematch, it's news to me. I'm fairly certain I would have heard about it. If you have a source, by all means, let me know.

And, my problem is with Estrada is that he should have taken his career seriously from the start. He came out of the Olympics fat, he fought his first nine fights fat, and he isn't exactly melting away the pounds. Yes, he is "maintaining" his weight, but he needs to lose at the very least 15 more pounds, which I hope we can agree on.

His early resume is impressive, but because he beat a Whitaker who had been out for nearly three years minus one fight right before Estrada is simply not that impressive.

I have no idea who is ducking Estrada, once again, if you have a source, feel free to prove me wrong. I know a few people around Estrada and get a lot of his PR stuff, I have never heard a complaint about being ducked.

With all of this, I am not suggesting Arreola destroys Estrada. In fact, I think it would be a fairly competitive fight. I am laughing at the tone of his letter and the fact he makes it seemed like he was robbed against Walker. To this point he is wasted talent in my opinion. He was like that in the Olympics when he said he'd rather turn pro so he came in the games at like 280. He's also shown signs of caring less as a pro. I never put high hopes on fighters who need bad things to happen in order to get motivated.

Arreola bombs out Estrada in a couple of rounds. Estrada is an entertaining fighter but if you can't punch in this division sooner or later someone is going to walk right through you, and Arreola has just the style to do it.
