Jason Moloney vs. Kōhei Kōno & Andrew Moloney vs. Richard Claveras RBR.

And now it's time for the main event! Jason Moloney (16-0, 13) v Kohei Kono (33-11-4, 14)

 

1-Kono looking to put the pressure on and Moloney on the move, can't say that wasn't the start we all expected! Moloney using his jab well and his feet well, but Kono is the stubborn ******* we all know and love and refuses to take a step backwards. Body shot by Kono, Moloney pushes Kono down, Moloney having a lot of success with his jab, big hook from Kono, Kono struggling to connect cleanly with anything but he's making Moloney work at a high rate straight off the bat

 

2-Kono again on the front foot to start the round and Moloney circling around the outside, Kono just a touch to slow to land at the moment but we saw that against Tso too until the Wonderboy got tired and Kono started to get his own way. Better from Kono whacking away at arms, and everything. Moloney looks really composed in these early stages but is under intense pressure, a big right from Moloney bounces off Kono, lovely uppercutt from Moloney seemed to hurt Kono for a second, big right from Kono, and another,

 

3-Think we know how the rounds starts... Moloney seems to be setting his feet just a touch more, Kono told to keep them up, the pace is slowing slightly. A hard jab from Moloney drops Kono! Kono is hurt! Moloney is hunting the finish now and Kono tagged by a right hand! and another right hand! Kono shaken the cobwebs now
