Jason Quigley - How Far Can He Go?

    As the title suggests, how far can this young Irish MW go now he's made the switch over to the pro's? As far as I'm concerned, he's a future world champion.

    Very impressed by what I've seen of him, I think he has the tools to make a lot of headway in the sport. Nice jab, solid right hand, his styles very easy on the eye, picks his shots well and as well as being able to 'box' he's handy at the rough stuff as well.

    GoldenBoy have snapped him up, he mullered his first opponent in just over a minute then stopped his next opponent in the 3rd a few weeks back.

    3 x European gold medalist as an amateur along with a silver in the worlds - which he picked up last year. Believe he also beat Anthony Fowler has an amateur.

    He's moved away from Ireland and re-located to California, so the dedication is there also.

    What's your thoughts on him?

    A lot of expectations but didn't look great in his two pro's already. Maybe nerves? Maybe an over eagerness to get the KO?

    He has the skill and the dedication and a trainer who knows him inside-out (his da) so hopefully he reaches his full potential.

    Already made his pro debut.

    Had his 2nd fight 2/3 weeks ago.

    i dont know why people say he looked bad in his 2nd fight , he land close to 100 punches on his opponent and the other guy only hit him like 8 times with poor shots. Of course he was going for the kill and trying to impress too

    Jason's next fight is on October 30th in Boston. Good idea for him to start building his profile in an Irish city early. He should get decent support.

    Cummings looks good, really solid pressure fighter, with some power and skills. There's been a constant improvement in his skillset over the last few years and id be surprised if he doesn't make it to at least European level.
