Hasn't entered the nationals, has received lots of offers from the pro's, hinted it himself earlier in the year that he was weighing up his options, most people think he is going to turn pro since he hasn entered the nationals. Apart from a statement from him announcing that his turning pro I cant think of any other way he coud inidicate more strongly that the might turn pro
His rose up pretty quickly eurpoean under 23 champion, then national champion then won the European championship then silver at the worlds. At the euro's he beat Bogdan Juritoni in the final a good boxer but his stand out win of that tournament was beating Ievgen Khytrov, the reigning world champion at the time who has since turned pro. He was flawless up until the final of the world championships and really impressed in the semi's against the Russian Artem Chebotarev. I taught the Kazakh in the final was very good, but Quigley didn't fight well in the final and looked tired from the opening bell. The Kazakh got a bye in the semi final which meant Quigley had two fights in two days while the Kazakh had a three or four day rest since his last fight. Hard to tell how good he will be in the pro's but I would have high hopes for him considering how quickly he rose through the ranks in the amatuers
Sick, thanks for the heads up but yes beating Khytrov is extremely impressive imo, although it's gonna be a whole other game against Khytrov in the pro's. Anyways i'll keep an eye out for the kid.
