He's stepping in against Cristobal Cruz who was supposed to face Marvin Sonsona. It's good to see him staying active. Cruz is 39-13, 23 KOs. He lost by KO twice but that was 10years ago..one KO loss coming from Martin Honorio. He beat Jorge Solis for the IBF title then lost it to Salido and lost his last fight as well to JC Burgos. He went the distance against both so he will be a very good test for Fortuna who needs to put some rounds in against tough veterans like Cruz. The fight is in 3weeks on July the 6th so I guess Fortuna was already staying in shape. Props to him for taking a tough fight on short notice!
I can't wait to see this kid in there again....I think he could be going places! I just wish he would control his wildness a little more. He can definitely box so all that brawling is not really necessary. Let's see what he brings July 6th...should be interesting!
