Has El Abejon fought anyone? :think

    Top five wins for each:

Fortuna - Cristobal Cruz, Mickey Roman, Francisco Lorenzo, Yuandale Evans, Derrick Wilson. (no, Hyland and his padded ass zero aren't even top 5 - he's a scrub, and Fortuna looked like **** against him)

Russell - Leo Miranda, Heriberto Ruiz, Mauricio Pastrana, Feider Viloria, Vyacheslav Gusev.

Fortuna's are better for sure, but he isn't on some lofty plane far above Russell taking on elites.

How do you know?? WE all know that every fighter can have off nights, especially someone who is as young and inexperienced as Fortuna.. And on top of that, it was his first fight under the bright lights of HBO freaking undercard of PAc-Marquez for godsakes!! So IM sure he was nervous or perhaps he tried too hard to impress...

The baddass Juan Carlos Burgos looked like **** against Cristobal Cruz while FOrtuna blew Cruz away... Does that mean anything?? not really...

    Fortuna can certainly beat Russell..

I highly doubt that ! Garry I believe is the faster of the two, and he counter puncher that loves to go to the body and break his opponents down.

I think Garry break Furtuna down for a point win. Furtuna has enough skill not to get KOed but I doubt he can take it to the body from Russel.

These guys will end up fighter each other sooner than expected. Simply because everyone else at 126lbs will avoid them like the plague. Russell has already talked about several fighters he would like to face in a ton of "on-camera" interviews including telling Donaire to "not even think about coming to 126lbs". And when all these other fighters are asked about potential opponents...NONE of them mentions the names of Russell or Fortuna.
