    J'Leon Love vs. Ozzie Adama is off.

    Adama reportedly didn't attend the weigh-in for whatever reason.

    Marcus Upshaw is the replacement, on 24 hours notice.

    Upshaw is 18-14-4 but has only been stopped thrice...including once by Ozzie Adama, ironically. He went the distance with moderate to heavy punchers in Tarvis Simms, Rob Brant, Patrick Majewski, Lamar Russ, Gilberto Ramirez Sanchez, Marco Antonio Rubio, David Lemieux, and Edwin Rodriguez.

    I guess Love can eke out a bit of credit with a stoppage. Otherwise this is a meaningless stay-busy placeholder.

    I've watched this Upshaw's last fight. He's a big guy. Not the worst of replacements.

    I'm still holding out hope for Tony too, and a KO of McCalla if he can pull it off might get his confidence up.

    Yeah, he upset 8-0 Turkish prospect Bugra Öner by KO.

    In a strange coincidence, Bugra and his brother Alptuğ Öner suffered the same fate on the same card, both entering 8-0 and both exposed via knockout by guys with unflattering records. (Alptuğ's was a bit worse, as his conqueror is 4-11)
