Fortuna is throwing left hand leads at the body and dropping his right arm like a drawbridge to pick off Velásquez's jab. Fortuna is dancing to his right and keeping his distance, stance wide. Sloppy triple hook on the kidneys by Fortuna. Clinch. Break. Velásquez fakes a right hand lead and tries a left hook, too far out. Clinch.

Round 2

Fortuna is pushing the right jab out and catching Velásquez's left jab in the air. Fortuna is throwing wild left uppercuts on the belt line behind the jab. Velásquez is feinting with the left hook and landing his right hand. Velásquez is dropped by a combo, left on the belly and double right hook behind the ear. Velásquez up quickly. Fortuna jumps on him and throws wild right hooks up top and lefts on the body as Velásquez tries staving him off with a left jab.

Round 3

Fortuna is winging punches underhanded at the body. Velásquez is kept in a constant retreat as Fortuna hurls in both hands and steps outside to launch high left hands at the head. Velásquez is jabbing as he steps in but then posting up and blocking as Fortuna throws flurries at him. Velásquez is bleeding from the nose. Velásquez tries a right hand lead but Fortuna catches it on the gloves moving backward. Fortuna is using a right jab feint to head and body to hold Velásquez outside.
