    Round 2

Ríos is holding and turning his head as Maciel whacks up top with both hands as they grind together, locking figurative horns at the lead hip. Ríos gets separation with a quick sneaky uppercut on the step-back and then clocks Maciel with a few clubbing rights, looming above him and imposing his advantage in height. Maciel is now flurries into a corner. Lead hook by Ríos, claps Maciel's right palm into his face. Maciel throwing hard sloppy body combos and then windmilling the right up top, finally tackling Ríos and driving his shoulder into his waist to pin Ríos on the ropes. Break ordered. Ríos is drawing the lead stepping into range, then scooting away from Maciel's jab and flicking his own into the nose. Ríos actually managing to very clearly outbox a slow and clumsy looking Maciel in this frame.

    10-9 Ríos

    19-18 Ríos

    Round 3

Ríos is hooked into the ropes. Maciel just pumping away, roundhouse punches on the equator, sometimes hitting the elbows of Ríos and sometimes his ribs or kidneys, really no mind paid. As long as he's smashing at least some part of Ríos' anatomy he seems happy. Ríos tries muscling his way free of the ropes with his guard lowered and Maciel bats him across the right temple with a hook. Ríos is finally able to fold his long arms up to protect himself as he leans in and leverages Maciel across the ring. Now some nice uppercuts by Ríos trapping Maciel nearly into the corner. Vicious exchanges going on, tit for tat. Uppercut by Ríos blocked. High sailing rabbit punches and neck shots by Maciel.

    10-9 Maciel

    28-28

    Round 4

Ríos is getting jabbed into the ropes, Maciel spearing it up high and then ripping body shots. Ríos is turning his back again, REALLY bad habit, somebody in his corner needs to instruct him not to do that, good way to get prematurely waved off by the ref OR, worse, seriously hurt by a shot from behind. Ríos is posting up against Maciel, grinding his bicep into the shorter man's face, then pushing off to make just enough room for uppercuts while swaying backward. Ríos is drilled into the ropes by straight shoveling body shots, overhands and uppercuts at point blank range. Maciel digging his skull into Ríos' midsection as he works. Ríos is leaning away in a Philly shell. Maciel lunges at him with a 1-2 and grazes.

    10-9 Maciel

    38-37 Maciel

    Maciel - Rios

    1: 9:9
    2: 10:9
    3: 9:10
    4: 10:9

A lot of infighting, which helps Maciel.

With my limited Spanish, it sounds like the commentators are saying that while Maciel is the aggressor, the cleanest work in the clinch is coming from Ríos (and most of the fight is being spent in the clinch, thus necessitating giving those smothered low-leverage blows more due weight than one might ordinarily) - and it sounds like they have Ríos ahead 38-37.

Rios has his moments, but Maciel is landing a lot more.

    Round 5

Ríos is popping off jabs and straight flurries, very weak but scoring. Maciel is exploding with right hands but not taking aim properly. Lots of clinches. Maciel getting off very little body work as Ríos gives him the octopus treatment. Heads starting to carom off each other, and the ref warns them both. Some more jabs in multiples and light straight flurries by Ríos stepping back to long range, pattering onto the guard of Maciel.

    10-9 Ríos, close

    47-47

    Round 6

Ríos is ripped with a big looping right as Maciel shakes free of a clinch. Maciel is hit with a right hand around the guard after Ríos knocks on the front door with a light 1-2. Maciel flips a jab up into Ríos' mouth and continues banging him inside with uppercuts. Ríos is tiring, but mustering up enough to stand his ground and work uppercuts on the belt line to pry Maciel off. No quarter given. Maciel is covering up and leaning into Ríos, fists bunched under his chin. Maciel bulldozes Ríos into the ropes. Break ordered. Overhand right thrown blindly up top by Maciel. Slapping left hooks from both. Ríos hurt by a body shot and spits out his gum shield. Rinsed & replaced by his corner. Time in. Ríos is cowed into a corner by a triple jab. Big left hook by Maciel missed. Ríos ducks low and Maciel goes fishing with big lacrosse stick right hands. One lands as a rabbit punch, on misses, and the third - PAYDIRT! And a left hook on the solar plexus! He's knocked down. Wait, quits without even trying to beat the count? Despite not being that hurt, and about to be saved by the bell? Seriously, Ríos?

    TKO6!!
