    Their programming guide doesn't appear to accurately reflect much of what is airing on any given moment, though, I noticed.

    There was a 50 minute timeslot blocked out this morning for a word that, when you do a Google translation of the characters, turns up "martial arts conference" (but which also evokes a bunch of boxing and MMA pics in the image results of any search engine) but who knows...

    Questions on top of questions. If "martial arts conference" did mean "live boxing match", whose exactly did they plan to give airing priority (since the length of that slot really only allows for one match to be shown)? Molina? Hunter? I can't hazard a guess as to whom among this North American bunch Chinese TV would be relatively most invested.

    It looks like it was one giant scam they brought a bunch of fighters to China promising multiple fights and big money. Turns out that there were no fights it appears that they didn’t have a promoters license or match maker license. Box rec lists the company as lutador Promotions Alan Gomez his address and phone number is listed as well. He should be arrested when he lands in American soil or arrested in China.
