    Jayson Velez is a 26 year 5'9 Featherweight with a 22-0 16 KO's record. One of the shining stars of Miguel Cotto Promociones, could become a future star from the island along with fellow countrymen Felix Verdejo and Jose Pedraza. He has a very exiting fan friendly style and the frame that with time he can possibly move up a few divisions. With Cotto at the end of his career and the fall of Juanma, Puerto Rico will be desperately in need of a breakout star they can get excited for, and maybe one of these, if not all 3 young talents can fill the void. He's a good looking kid who's easy to market, So Check Him Out especially now since he may have a breakout performance against the Mexican Russian Gradovich. Although he really needs to change his nickname, Maravilla should be retired when Sergio does.:ko:ko:ko:ko

    Yes he is, but Velez is quite good, the fight IMO is 50/50

    I thought it was in poor taste for Velez to dedicate his victory over Chava's nephew to Wilfredo Gomez, as if some sort of revenge or some ****.
