jazza Dickens v Kid Galahad?

TBH there's no shock i couldn't see Galahad fighting a dangerous fellow British fighter in Dickens when he's going down the international and continental title routes..

 

Yeh high risk relatively low reward, whoever Jazza fights I hope it's televised

Galahad should have taken this fight IMO. If he wants to get into the mix with the likes of Quigg or Frampton, he should be testing himself against the best domestic level at least.

I would have loved to have seen it because I feel Dickens is going to be a force at domestic and European level for a long time so it would've been a good litmus test of Galahad and where he can go in his career IMO.

 

I think Jazza will be a world champ id rate him as one of the best young prospects along with cal smith and kal yafai, I also think Anthony Fowler will be a huge star when he turns pro.

 

It would have been a good fight for both of them and a pick them fight and would have been interesting to try and work out how it would have gone. The annoying bit is that Galahad, is going to go the alphabet route and fight people we haven't heard of for some intercontinental or silver rubbish, instead of fighting for Commonwealth, British or European to try and 'dodge' (I wouldn't call it dodging more being cautious) a British fighter

 

No worries. Hes had very little exposure hes with hatton promotions so hasnt had many televised fights.

 

I predicted this weeks ago gallahad docent have the balls to fight jazza

If they rated Kid that highly they would have entered the purse bids. I thought Jazza would beat Kid and Henesey's lack of confidence has confirmed it aswell.

Hope Jazza can get a decent opponant to test himself against.

 

It would have been nice for Dickens to fight a live opponent.

 

Its not his fault Hatton isn't providing him with higher quality opposition, the lad he fought last time wasn't bad though.

 

He wasn't that good either but at least he came in on the back of a win, not a very good win but one nevertheless. I can't understand all this love for Dickens. Fine, he looks OK but with limited power against very limited opposition. How people can make assertions like "he will be a world champion one day" on the basis of what he has shown so far is beyond me.

 

Obviously he is in the very early stages of his career, but I have been watching his career since he was a young am and think he is one of the most talented kids I have seen. Off course it may be premature to think that he will become world champ one day, but it is my opinion that he has the talent, attitude and the coaching team and support around him to go all the way.

 

I can see what you mean, I think most people like his personality and the way he is in general. He is obviously a top lad but nice people don't always get to the top. Its clear if you monitor his training though that he isn't taking any short cuts and Everton Red Triangle is a decent gym to be in if you're a lower weight fighter. Him, Satchell and Ryan Farrag are all good fighters in the lower divisions.

 

Wale & Booth are both more experienced & accomplished than Dickens, who has only faced one opponent with a winning record & has never been beyond 8 rounds.
