Billy c'mon Quigg and Frampton are currently better than Kid Galahad, that being said he's very talented and can go very far, also a really sound guy to meet.

Quigg couldn't do that when they sparred in Manchester over 2 years ago - him and Rhys Roberts had to do a minute and a half each with Galahad who was supposed to be the sparring partner!
Tyson Fury was in the gym and became a big fan of Galahad.

    :good

When will people realise sparring is just sparring. It is what it is.
Has f all reflection as to what will happen in an actual bout.

Your right they do, but it all depends on the type of sparring, and the actual fighters mentality to sparring:

    1. If the sparring is being used as an exercise to learn technique then the sparring would not matter when it comes to fight time as all it would show is teh willingness to learn.

    2. If the sparring is being used to get a fighter ready for an upcoming bout then the sparring would be much more like a fight but this might show the fighter training for the fight coming up on top but it would depend on how fit the other guy was for the sparring ie if he was fighting him they would be doing the training for the same date and should be peaking at the same time.

    3. Some boxers treat sparring as an exercise and don't get near the levels they would if it were a bout.

There is lots of ways to look at it but just to say that somebody comes out on top in sparring means they would win the fight is very flawed.

Carl and Quigg are very good fighters but I feel the could both tighten there defences before challenging for world title honours if indeed they do, galahad is a little special imo and would beat both

So if I sparred you a week with 16oz gloves on and gave you it tight and a fight was made between us with the wee gloves and no headguard you wouldn't be looking forward to it would you.

If sparring was an accurate reflection then Froch would not have one many fights and Khan even less!!!

Like Galahad but the lack of pop will find him out unless he can improve that.

How can u criticise quigg and framptons defence when he is taking lots of straight shots from josh wale and Isaac nettey when his whole style is based on not getting hit
