wow 1700 calories for someone your size? im 135 lbs and i have a hard time staying under 2000 calories
1700 is pretty freaking low... Almost 300lbs, 12 000 posts on ESB, 5'11... Is that you Dan Rafael? joke joke. Good luck man, and its defenitly do-able. Its gonna go down fast early on, but once your at 250lbs, its gonna be a major test of will to lose the last 30. Good luck, ESB on your side!
I was thinking more Star Trek. Was going to make a personal log but note sounded better. I saw the movie and could not believe that he listed some lame medications in his last personal note, but it was good. It is all on youtube.
The anti-inflammatories. I am sure he had naproxen or ibuprofen on the list. As for boxing, no. I hit the bag and seem to think that I have some mean punches, but I don't box competitively.
Hell yes. I have been doing an hour on the cross-trainer followed by some bag work. I have been doing some light weights - mainly dumbbell work and ab work with added resistance (I train my abs like any other muscle group) as well. My diet contains a lot of brown rice, fish, soup, eggs (raw) and some added vitamins. C, D with calcium, flax seed oil and a controlled release multi-vitamin on top.
To the person who said that it would be hard after 250 - that is roughly correct in my estimation. Hopefully I will be doing a decent amount of running by that stage which should help me toward my goal.
Some pictures of yourself would maybe motivate you/keep you on track, even if you don't post them on here. Everyone keeps telling me I should have taken pictures before I started the gym.
I was talking with Oz about this not too long ago. I admitted that I was way too vain to post a pic of myself out of shape, or even take one. I would be paranoid as **** about someone finding it and it would have to be in a safe of some sort. I am only going to weigh myself once a month until I hit 250. After that it will be more complicated but at this stage I can tell by looking in the mirror if I am doing things correctly.
Amazing, is it not? Then again, I look okish in clothes. I have a powerlifting build. When I was at 20 stone people just asked me how much I lifted.
