This content is protected ...Yes...I was surprised to see that too! In this picture (although Kessler is slightly closer to the camera), Joe does look taller, by up to an inch, but not more...but Kessler's arms look longer...
If it's half an inch, it's an insignificant difference...the reach difference would be much more important...let's look at more pictures to see whether there is a reach difference. This content is protected In this one, Kessler's arms look longer, again, but not by more than 2 inches or so...
To be honest...all this discussion is flawed...because even if they both stood up completely straight, it would be very hard to decide who was taller from pictures...the important conclusion though is...Joe is not significantly less tall...so much we can all agree...:deal
It's no wonder they're both pissing themselves laughing and respectful to each other: they are both going to havw career high paydays from this.
The difference between their height and reach is minimal. As I expected the interviews are not that controversial - both modest guys with a lot of respect for each other. I think Kessler enjoys that Joe is the center of attention over there. Now, no hand or back-injuries...
This is true. Joe dealt with taller men than him (Veit, Woodhall), physically bigger men than him (Mitchell, Reid(?)), muscular men than him (Lacy) and everyone else the same height or less. Height and reach won't be an important factor in this fight because the movement of one boxer is brilliant and the other boxer is very accurate. It all depends how both move their chess pieces on the night.
