    Vargas would absolutely mutilate him. Vargas had fought Winky and Quartey after each other, and then 2 fights late fought the beast that was prime Trinidad. Also fought a near-prime De La Hoya.

    Over in less than 5 rounds.

    Vargas was elite, powerful, and extremely skilled.

    JCC Jr. would get blasted away by Vargas.

    a prime vargas at 154 destroys just about anyone in his path, except for only a handful of great fighters.....plus, we can't even compare yet...vargas had an amazing amateur career and brought home some silver (i think it was silver)

    chavez is barely getting over that hump that most fighters get over in or around their 15-18th fight.....give the kid some time, he might surprise a lot of people, or he might prove a lot of people wrong and never become a dominant world champ
