Mayweather in a war. JCCs left hook to the body would be damaging, i think both guys take punishment but Floyds hand speed should see him land enough to win.
Best for best at 130, I pick Chavez. Floyd's too easily backed into the ropes and he would be forced into an inside battle. Mayweather's wonderful there, but Chavez was better. Maybe the Castillo "blueprint" is used too much against Floyd, but it was still a case of a poor man's Chavez giving Floyd absolute hell and arguably beating him. The genuine article isn't going to leave anything arguable about it.
130lbs is a pick em for me...I could see PBF taking it, but going through absolute HELL. At 135lbs, Chavez takes it tho. :good
No one dominats JCC superstar at 130, he'll walk right through Mayweather or run right through him more likely be the case. Mayweather has never ever been anywhere near fighting a murderous punching top class operator such as JCC & it's the JCC trademark straight right-hand down the pipe thats the key punch that opens up floyd for the avalanche of pain that will be inflicted on him. JCC has to be one of the finest operators at cutting off the ring i've ever seen juxtaposed with a granite chin is way way to much for the likes of Floyd to fend off & get away undamaged. JCC will suffocate Floyd, non-stop pressure will see Floyd get dismantled late on.
Chavez. His combination of defence and pressure means Floyd will have to fight off the back foot at a very high energy level, sending him totally out of his comfort zone. By the late rounds Chavez will spend 3 minutes with his head in Floyd's chest and his hooks ripping his body. I think he takes a 7-5.
People Chavez and Castillo are not the same fighters....Chavez is more of a pressure fighter and Castillo is more of a boxer puncher.....Castillo is5'8" taller larger and possibly stronger than JCC, IMO Castillo had a better jab and could hang better at mid range and long range with Mayweather because of his length...Mayweather wouldnt be injured either, in their second fight he beat him wide and convincingly....Chavez is would eat jabs and rights all night and floyd aint gonna get hit and gas like Taylor did....everytime Chavez faced world class speed or boxing skills he looked inept( Taylor til 2 seconds left, got a gift with whitaker and randall...so i cant see him beating a prime Mayweather who also had a dynamic offense and defense.
What the **** you on about "Taylor gassing out" He was having the very life beaten out of him & he was still blazing away till he walked into the a sledgehammer. Just knew some clown would bring up whitaker & randall as if thats got anything to do with 130 Floyd ai'nt gonna get hit is the best ***** squawk yet:deal
Funny since, the 2 examples you mentioned are: against whitaker who is a a stylistic nightmare to Chavez, and pretty much anyone around that weight, not too mention that was at Welter, and Randall, which Chavez was already past his best and despite what the haters would like to have you believe, was actually a very competitve fight. Chavez opposition for the most part were faster than him, and that didnt stop him from beating down his opponents. Funny you didn't mentioned Camacho in your little example, even him being past it by then, he still had a very big speed advantage. And Taylor gassed out?? I guess Chavez beating the **** out of him while still being behind the cards didnt have anything to do with it. With all that said, i would still slightly favor Floyd at 130lbs. But 135lbs is a diffrent story. And no, Floyd didnt beat Castillo by a "wide margin" in the rematch...he beat him clearly, but it was closer than you think. And don't forget to mention that Chavez had a much better defense than Castillo, and was better at cutting off the ring. :deal
Chavez hes great left hook and straight right, hes workrate und stamina would be " too mutch " for floyd
