JCC vs Pernell Whitaker - Why no rematch?

    Chavez and King said Whitaker could have a rematch but only if he cut his ties with Dan Duva - supposedly because they were so offended by Duva's outspoken opinions on the decision in the first fight. Obviously it's also possible that they just made a demand which they knew Whitaker would never accept, because that looks better than refusing to fight him outright.

    Not sure Chavez would have wanted it either. He knew he was never beating Sweet pea.
