Maybe even Pac can beat him at 135.

Pryor and Arguello would also give JCC all that he could handle

I'm not quite sure about this. He would have to work especially hard to crack the chin of Marquez.

Despite Diaz's lack of power, if one isn't impressed by the durability of JMM after last Sat. night...I simply don't know what to tell them.

All of those fighters are so good that you can't really definitely say they couldn't beat ANYONE on a given night. That being said, I don't think Mosely's powerboxing stands up to JCC's. Whitaker catchweight was 145, so that fight has nothing to do with this conversation as we're talking lightweight, and JCC was past his best at 31 anyway. I don't think PBF has enough pop to keep JCC off him, but reasonable people can disagree, and the same goes for Duran, reasonable people can disagree. Personally I think JCC would kill Duran with bodypunching and he would take a decision from PBF because PBF would be a lot more concerned with his defense in this fight than his offence.

No need for you to be such a little ***** about it, now is there?

As far as Pac goes, I don't think he beat JMM so I definitely don't think he beats JCC, who is a step or two above both and re Pryor, he couldn't beat ANY top tier LW without cocaine in his corner. No way he would have took those shots from Arguello in thier first fight without his 'special' bottle. Re Arguello it's just a matter of opinion. Mine is that JCC would have worn him down.

Of all those fighters, Duran is the one I would give the best chance to beat JCC. He's the only one I think could stand in front of JCC and fight with him with a good chance to win it, but if Buchanan gave Duran trouble and De Jesus got the best of Duran JCC certainly could too.

Can you ****in read??, yester YEAR!, any year before this year. JCC at 135 is great but alot of fighters still fighting today within the weight range would have given him a good a good scrap. Did you read the thread title? Are you agreeing that JMM would look mediocre compared to him?

    Are you ****ing serious?

Julio Cesar Chavez is a great fighter, but he's way behind those guys.

He's not top tier like you said, he's probably not even 3rd tier.

I wouldn't have him any higher than around #30 in my ATG P4P list.

    Pea 90%
    Floyd 70%
    Mosley (50/50)

JCC has got to be around 25-30. Pernell should be ranked higher which I doubt he is in most list. Definitely the greatest Mexican fighter of all time.

Among latin fighters, only Duran is higher and Arguello, Monzon is just a bit behind.

I have him about #32. He sometimes creep into the top 30 on my list depending on how I feel, but no more than around #27/28.

I'm a big fan of Monzon and have them around the same level, Monzon usually makes my top 30 though, just inside though at #29 or so, but occassionally Chavez can creep in front of him when I end up changing it around.

Arguello I actually have a bit behind around #35.
