these ggg fanboys sure are funny "only guy who has a chance against kovalev is ggg" ohhh ya....so he wont fight ward at 168 but he has a chance against the 175 champ who is dominating people? what happened to "but ward is 2 weight classes higher"??? bunch of fukbois
ive been trying to tell him that for a minute loudon hes in another dimension...a dimension filled with pewp
He told me last month that anyone who thinks that Roy could have beaten either GG or Kov, is out of their mind.
well loudon he also said ggg is the only guy who could maybe beat kova but then when we ask them why ggg ducked andre ward(who apparently has no shot but is going to actually fight him) they say "ward is 2 classes higher"....guy wont even fight ward at 168 but hes gonna fight kovalev and beat him? where ? cruiserweight?
of course those guys are atgs ggg is just a bumbeater. his best win is geale, a guy that got ktfo by ww miguel cotton
Thank you. Just cause one doesn't believe that GGG is the best ever to lace them up, doesn't make one a "hater".
Roy would box carefully and win a UD. Toney was inconsistent at 160, but the struggles he had (except for Tiberi) are understandable. Most fighters, especially young contenders with just 22 or so fights, would have a tough time with Nunn, and Toney was coming on strong from the 8th round on, contrary to what revisionist history would tell you. He then defended against a very solid contender less than 2 months later against Reggie Johnson, and won a close but clear decision IMO despite being hurt. Toney looked brilliant the first time against McCallum when they called it a draw. Toney should have gotten the nod there. Toney wasn't as impressive in the rematch when he got the decision, but McCallum was a great fighter regardless. He was better at 154, but still an excellent fighter at 160. Toney loved aggressive opponents that he could counter. He excelled against those type of opponents. He had more trouble against movers or awkward boxers like Montell Griffin. If Toney shows up in awful shape like he did against Dave Tiberi, then yeah, he loses. But chances are, he doesn't, and would win a decision over GGG through his terrific counter punching.
Nobody schools a prime Hagler. Hagler at his peak would be a tough match for any MW in history. The guys he would lose to, he would be pretty competitive.
They both have great skills comparable to GGGs plus a size advantage. I can see them both beating him, but it would be interesting and competitive like when they fought each other.
