I've tried to like mma but I just cant, its terrible. The only fighter I enjoy watching is Silva. I watched that fight on Saturday and the first round was good but after that Dos Santos was ****ed and it was just Velasquez chasing him around the cage hugging him it was pathetic.

I think ill just watch Silva from now on and its not like I haven't given it a fair shot it just isn't for me.

I would LOVE to see Wlad land a 1-2 with 4 oz gloves on one of these MMA roided up shitheads.

Klitschkos in K1, almost zero chance, Vitali could avoid a quick defeat due to his kickboxing background, but would lose, too. Also Muay Thai> Kickboxing. Wlad would get hurt immediately after few low kicks.
Thing is in boxing the MMA and K1 fighters cannot use a lot of their weapons which is a clear disadvantage, and boxers cannot adapt to the bigger arsenal that is being used in MMA and K1.
Really not easy to switch to a different sport.

You haven't the slightest clue how taxing keeping that kind of wrestling pace that Velasquez was pushing.

Educate yourself. Go box for 4 rounds.... live active sparring.

Then go wrestle for 4 rounds where all your opponents strength is battling yours...
You;ll be more exhausted from 1 round of wrestling than 4 of boxing.

That pace Cain set was incredible for a HW.. period.

And in a REAL fight Cain would destroy Wlad, and quick....

Wlad isn't a fat zombie middleweight with no power.

JDS thinks his striking is so hot maybe he should come over to boxing and earn 50 times what he earns. He is a joke.

If it's MMA rules then Cain beats any boxer on the planet, and pretty damn easily. I would have thought that'd be pretty obvious to even the most ardent of fan boys.

All these guys being talked about are dedicated professionals in their perspective sports. To think that someone from a differant sport can just waltz in and beat them seems unreasonable to me. This is why I think this most boxers have a lot of weight on their front foot any mma guy would kick that front leg till he couldn't walk on it. There would be no reason to get inside of Wlad's reach if that leg is available. Now an mma fighter has a poor defense to bring into a boxing ring and would get picked apart by a decent boxer.

Or we could watch an ancient Ray Mercer KO Sylvia with one punch.....under MMA rules.

Unless Wlad lands a single right Hand then its Night Night Cain. All it takes is one Bad takedown attempt.....

He won against some good fighters like Le Banner and Aerts but they were not in their prime.
Botha thought it would be a piece of cake, but he also lost against bums in K-1.
After his last fight he said he gained a lot of respect for the tough guys in K1, he had huge problems with the kicks. His K-1 record is 4-11, not really great for a boxer who is built like a tank.
