He was looking from the wrong perspective. Just because you may be the best heavyweight boxer in MMA doesn't mean you'll be competitive with the best boxer in boxing.
I am a big JDS fan but it was an embarrassing event for everyone involved. JDS was absolutely gassed after defending 4 takedowns and Cain was shooting from all over the place like a junior high wrestling match. And he couldn't finish a dead man walking with his hands at his waist. It was a really disappointing fight and truly embarrassing for the fight game.
even in MMA Wlad would end both of these guys with one right hand, jab straight right, first round KO in 5 seconds even if partially blocked. even with their shooting game, how they gonna get inside Wlads poleaxe? boxing is so superior to this ****
I agree. In boxing the champions are masters. In MMA the champions are barely better then the rest of the fighters!
This is all bs they can't compete in each others sports. JDS could not beat Wlad in a boxing match and Wlad would not be able to beat JDS in a mma fight!
I think Wlad has a 50% chance at least of beating this guy in MMA. If Wlad lands one punch it's over. Good odds.
On MMA rules Dos Santos , Vasquez , Werdum , Big Foot Silva , Overeem and Lesnar would finish the Klitschko brothers in 1 round due of their good grappling technique. On boxing rules the K. bros beat all of the UFC heavyweights within 3-4 rounds by T/K.O. The question is how would manage the K. brothers against these fighters that I have enumerated above on kickboxing rules ?:think Overeem , Vasquez and Silva are pretty good on kickboxing.
