Overeem is actually very good. He has stamina and concentration problems imho. When he's on song he's devastating ... just a pity he blows his wad so quickly
He is actually getting all this hype by destroying Lesnar, a guy that was suffering from Diverticulitis, and decided to get in the Ring with the Reem, and by destroying Bret Rogers, who was exposed as nothing more but a CAN. Reem is formidable for sure though.
Actually I remember him from Pride coming in with his Thor's hammer schtick ... and he was very freaking dangerous early on. Unfortunately he had a gas tank like a scooter and often lost late. I also remember his taking on the K1 bad boy Badr Hari and making him his hoe in a pure kickboxing match, something that surprised a lot of people. Reem is good, just not awfully consistent.
yeah he is a seriously dangerous dude, I have always loved his knee attacks, some of the most lethal in the game :bbb
