Jean-Claude Van Damme’s Comeback Fight Announcement

ummm he wouldnt be the first guy over 50 to fight professional...so thats dumb....but honestly....id be curious to see it

I use to talk total **** on van damme..but the more i read about him the more it seems like he was at one point a pretty legit fighter..but that was in the late 70's and early 80's.

 

Yea, kind of insulting to forget about a legend like Severn. A guy named Skip Hall fought in his 60s.

 

I remember Don The Dragon Wilson kept trying to get Van Damme into the ring several years back. I doubt this ever happens - but who knows? Dolph Lundgren had that boxing match against Oleg Taktarov a couple years ago. Anything is possible.

 

well....the guy he is fighting is pretty legit.....

actually though, van damme had some pretty good kick boxing and full contact matches back in the day.....more legit then I thought...having said that..those where all 25 plus years ago..and about 1000 pounds worth of coke ago.....

Over the years I've heard of him losing street fights to Val Kilmer, Chuck Zito (who knocked him the **** out), and Aussie sports reporter Steve Quartermain.

He is clearly past his prime. I'm worried he might get killed and we never see another Universal Soldier movie.
