In Paris,France. Interview from our very own: http://www.eastsideboxing.com/news.php?p=21683&more=1 How'd you guys see this and thoughs?:think
Unless he's completely done, which is possible, Mormeck is levels above this guy - more pain for Vinny.
That's the only thing that makes this match intriguing - is Mormeck far gone enough to lose to Maddalone?? That question will be answered when this fight occurs. I'd be surprised if he is. Maddalone is a mediocre journeyman, at best.
What's the deal with Mormeck moving up HW anyway? Can he not make cruiser anymore? Or is he aiming for an unlikely HW strap in a depleted division?
He's been saying he was gonna move up ever sicne the Hyae loss. One of the reasons he says is to rematch Haye. Maybe he couldn't make weight, either way now after 2 years off he prolly can't indeed make weight.
I wouldnt be surprised if Mormeck lost this. He's a very simple slugger and barely even a heavyweight in my eyes. Vinny will be in his grill all night and unless he can get his respect he's going to get stopped. Not so long ago he was making 190 happily. Plus he takes far too many long layoff's.
I think JMM has a good chance at losing.... I see this as a 50/50 fight, ill say 60/40 for JMM cause its in France.
