Jean Pascal and Carl Froch are two of the baddest motherf$ckers out there!

Froch - Pascal was an incredible fight. I hope the rematch happens.

 

Froch won the vacant WBC title against Pascal in England in an all out war. They have great respect for each other and Froch said he would be ringside for the Pascal Hopkins fight cheering on his mate.

I dont see how their rematch can live up to the first fight though. Both were so hungry at the time.

 

I like both guys. They are definately a good for the sport. But am I the only one who sees in round 4 at 0:33 Froch keeps hitting after the referee splits the 2 and also at 0:45 in round 5 Pascal has him and the referee just stops Pascal. Don`t mean to discreditate Froch , but I think this was a very close fight and if the fight was in Canada Pascal might have won it.

 

Froch is going to Canada to cheer him on when he fights Hopkins.

I think I remember reading that they speak to each other regularly on the phone too, something to do with someone on Froch's team working with Pascal too.

Froch is great even if he is limited in ability, it's a shame that it took this victory for him to get the respect off so many on this board because his resume before the Abraham fight was still impressive.

BTW the bit you are talking about in round 5 - the ref stops pascal cause the bell went for the end of the round...

 

I heard they stayed in touch afterwards and helped each other spar for upcoming fights. Clearly a lot of mutual respect.

It just seems for a lot on here Froch was seen as a bit of a joke before the weekend and now everyone is on the bandwagon.

Pascal was ringside for Froch's last fight in UK (Dirrell) to cheer him on and was happy signing and getting photos taken with punters, and they've sparred. Froch has got some link to Canada, when they were talking about moving the Abraham fight to a neutral venue he mentioned there as a preference.

Froch has always been a warrior and is all about the glory, David Haye used to be similar, like I say used to be.

 

I like Froch more every time I see him fight, even in defeat. This thread gets the D.D. stamp of approval.
