Never heard of someone going 1-1 and getting comeback of the year, but if you based it strictly on h2h showings and not as heavily weighted towards successful outcomes then yeah, absolutely.

I think Tyson Fury won the Ring Magazine’s comeback of the year only last year based mainly on his showing in his draw against Deontay Wilder though his recovery from his outside boxing activities undoubtedly played a part in his winning it as well.

Lets make one thing clear, it was IB who had his little Canelo outburst in a topic that had nothing to do with him. I agree that this doesn't need to become another Canelo topic, talk to your dude IB about that. Sure there are other people who don't see Canelo as the king of boxing, those people mostly consist of butthurt GGG fanboys who can't accept that Canelo whooped his ass twice, and still cry about it all the time in the form of making statements trying to downplay what Canelo continues to accomplish. It isn't me who needs to move on, it's IB and others who continue to deny that Canelo beat the prime out of his hero and continues to dare to great and accomplish big things in the sport.

Canelo is the King of Boxing and the Fighter of the Year. I fully accept that, as any unbiased sane boxing fan would. But when it comes to GGG fans they still got that Canelo whooping GGG butthurt going on and that's where I come in to set them straight. And I know how much IB appreciates it too, that I take the time out of my day to set him on the right path when he talks about Canelo. Because I agree a lot with IB on scoring, like over the weekend when we scored Harrison Charlo 2 similarly, but when it comes to Canelo he gets blurred vision, that's where I come in, I'm like IB's ophthalmologist when it comes to Canelo.

"Beat the prime out", shadow?? You think Kovalev was still prime when he fought Canelo?

Course not silly. Ward did that. Canelo beat the prime outta GGG.

Oh. Wait, so that means you think GGG is my hero? :dunno

Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay more of a Kovalev fan. In fact overall I've always been pretty even-handed on Golovkin, praising him when appropriate in defiance of the haters but also criticizing him when called for to his fanboys' lament. You just happen to be on a side of the fence where anyone saying Canelo lost either fight with him gets tarred with a GGG stan brush..

Does this sound like he's my hero?

OK that sounds about right, he's not your hero, Kovalev is. And BTW I had Kovalev ahead vs Canelo after 10 rounds. Does that sound like someone who is biased? When it comes to GGG, I disagreed with your scoring of the Canelo bouts obviously, but if I recall you did give Canelo a round in the first match, the 6th IIR, that most gave to GGG. But I was baffled at how you gave some of those early rounds to GGG. I think with you it's more anti-Canelo than pro-GGG, but you've shown what side of the fence you are on in regards to Canelo GGG, which is fine and at least you did go through it round by round and discussed it to an extent so in that sense you've done more than others. I think the other thing is that many GGG fans are Kovalev fans and vice versa, so imagine what it's like to be one of those people, Canelo has now destroyed both of their idols so it's understandable why some of these people are Canelo detractors.

I've criticized Canelo and has team on many occasions. For example, I made it clear that I didn't like how DLH said he was gonna make GGG wait for a 3rd match in an interview. In all honesty I'm very even-handed when it comes to DLH. I was never a huge fan of his when he was a fighter. I do like the Reynoso's though I think they are phenomenal trainers and the job they have done with Canelo is nothing short of outstanding.

First Canelo beat the prime out of Kovalev then Canelo destroyed GGG hahahahaha

In what alternative universe do you live in.
Canelito couldnt even back GGG into the ropes, in 24 rds, let alone "destroy" him. You come up with ish like this and you call yourself unbiased ?!

    LOL

Not a Pascal guy. But boy should he be proud of his career. Would be a mighty impressive W over Jack.

We should thank Shadow for showing us in these turbulent times that love is stronger than hate. I mean, who could hate anyone as much as he loves Canelo? Thanks man, we've found a purpose for your crazy ass on this board after all.

I've always liked watching Pascal fight.

Is he a bit wet behind the ears? Sure.

Is he pure value for money? A resounding HELL YES!

Great to see him how he is now when you think what Kov done to him (and Pascal would probably hammer Kov now).
