Jean Pascal is a Bum

He's not what fans envision when they think "Undisputed Light Heavyweight Champion of the World" but he took the fight to Dawson and was rewarded for it. I'm not sure just how injured Chad was but it looked like he was going through the motions for the first 7 rounds or so. Then, when his first opportunity presented itself he didn't capitalize. The rematch will be something to behold.

 

As good a matchup as that would be, I'm sure Dawson will insist on a rematch with him first.

Agreed. I think Pascal's French Canadian fans should start calling Dawson that. If we have to call someone a bum in this fight, it certainly shouldn't be the guy who won.

the rematch clause states that Pascal can fight someone else before talk of a rematch can happen.

 

Get the **** out of here, Pascal just whipped Dawson clearly, leaving Dawson only to make excuses mid way through the fight saying his shoulder was hurt, then to make even more excuses after the fight saying Pascal was holding and hitting, hitting low and headbutting all night, I am sorry but dawson has lost all my respect he should have just took his loss like a man and fought a smarter fight in the rematch but rather made tons of excuses and lied about being fouled all night...

 

Last night was an aberration..a rematch will be won by Dawson..who's unpopular because he fights in a defensive manner as a boxer, and of course, ...he's an American. All this notwithstanding, Dawson will beat Pascal in a remacth.

Just seen it. Can't believe Pascal won. I'm over the moon I tells ya. Dawson looked lazy and arrogant in there but was coming on strong just before the stoppage. I think he stunned Jean just before the clash of heads. Strange moment. Pascal seemed to stop for a moment.
Great stuff and that Ring mag belt looks great around Pascals neck.
