Pascal doesn't have what Froch had. When he is hit, Pascal goes backwards. Froch continued going forward. I can see Pascal swinging the air with Bute picking his shots slowly, waiting for the usual Pascal's gassing from the 6th round.

Bute won't stay in front of Pascal because he knows Pascal will try to do the same as Froch: knocking him right from the start. Bute will dance and at that game (the footwork game), Bute is a horrible match up for Pascal. :thumbsup

For years, Bute was seen as the big favourite in this match-up.

Then, when Bute was left out of the Super Six, he declined to fight Pascal. That was the time for this match-up.

Now, Bute has lost a lot of his luster and Pascal has become a lot more credible. Fans still want to see it but it's lost a bit of its marketability after Bute was destroyed and came back looking like **** against Grachev.

For the true boxing fan, though, the fight should be even more interesting now.

Even big Bute fans have to have some doubt that Bute should be seen as the favourite here.

Am a fan of both and think Pascal is 60/40 favourite, even if Bute comes back strong. I agree that Pascal has the style to make it very hard for Bute.

Hope this fight happens in May.

If Bute loses, he should retire.

Besides, Jean can't sustain an attack the way Froch did, and when he stuns his opponent he usually gets a bit too excited and throws wild hooks without really caring where they land.

I'm aware that Pascal could stun Bute early and finish the job but I really think we haven't seen the last of Lucian yet! :bbb
