Did he mention if the sparring with Bivol and Beterbiev was with 16oz headgear and gloves? You can't really compare otherwise.

 

Kovalev is so good that SOB Ward had to cheat to win by corrupt decision, he was holding, wrestling, headbutting, etc., but in the second fight, well, that was the most corrupt fight I have ever seen! A total disgrace! SOB knew he had to cheat, so he kept hitting Kovalev in the testicles while Tony Weeks allowed it to happen, then after SOB hit Kovalev in the testicles three times Weeks stopped the fight and called it a knockout instead of disqualifying SOB, or at the very least giving Kovalev 5 minutes to recover from the low blows. Anyone who says those blows were not low is lying............................anyone knows that blows below the belly button is illegal, but SOB's were even lower, in an upward motion so the cup would do the most harm to the testicles, it's an old trick, I have had that to happen to me, SOB knew he was cheating............

Ward is using the inside game to smother you, not to exchange up close, like most good inside fighters do.

He simply won't be able to smother Beterbiev's punches up close, period.
Ward will be ragdolled and destroyed in a few rds if he attempts his wrestling routine.

He knows it, Beterbiev knows it, just about everybody does, except you.

And Ward work on the inside. Have you seen any of his fights? He ties up the other fighter while making openings for his own shots.

 

There's plenty of examples of powerhouses manhandling technicians in clinches: not only that, but Ward doesn't have a hard enough punch or a solid chin to get Arthur's respect.

That's why he will never agree to fight Beterbiev.

 

I'd find it hard to believe that Kovalev hits harder than Beterbiev,
Beterbiev shots look like they rattle you to the bone, even shots
that aren't flush and/or are blocked. Kova, I think he's a quicker,
sharper, better puncher, no doubt. As for Bivol I think Kova is a bigger hitter from what I've seen.

Did anyone even suspect otherwise? Kovalev punching harder than Bivol is a given, and I think only a minority think Beterbiev punches harder.
