I never said I would support Ward against Bute in Montreal, I just said that I would be ringside. I'm a fan of both Ward and Bute! I've been to 7 or 8 Bute fights man, and I cheer for him every time

    Don't make **** up!

those fights can also happen at 175. Froch, Ward, Dirrell, Glen Johnson... all these guys will eventually move up. Even Abraham maybe.

I personally would rather see Bute fight Pascal right away instead of seeing him against Stieglitz, Green or the likes in his March fight but if somehow he can land a Dirrell or Kessler right away, then I'd much rather see that.

This guy is so full of himself, but he will get his wake-up call pretty soon. Why doesn't he come at 168 if he is so good? Maybe he's scared of Froch? lol

You can dream about it but deep down, you know it won't happen. Pascal close UD.

I'm part of the guys that want to see Bute fight the best at 168lbs right now and Pascal was there before...but is not anymore.

I really think it's the overall best 168lbs division in the last 10 years at least and I want to see it provide great matchups right now.

Saying that they could all fight some day at 175lbs is possible but only speculation that it could happen. Now they are all at 168lbs and are capable of doing it right away under the same TV Network so lets do it now.

Making a Pascal-Bute fight will always be the easiest to make at any time down the road, nevermind what Jean said, but I ain't so sure that making fights like Bute-Dirrell; Bute-Froch; Bute-Abraham or Bute-Ward should wait if they can be made right now because the probability of them being made later, diminishes for all kinds of reasons (financial, boxing politics, promoters, rankings, etc.), much more so than a fight with Pascal.

It will never matter down the road if both Bute & Pascal lost 2 or 3 times before they face each other, they will still pack it up with 20 000 fans in the Bell Center ! It will always be a big fight for us but not so much for the rest of the casual boxing fans anyways.

On the other hand, we both know that Bute's next March fight will probably be against another guy we don't want to see because he most likely won't be able to land the other guys yet....therefore Pascal-Bute it should be for me in March !!!

What's wrong with the matter of making big bucks? Tell me if I'm wrong, usually when a big fight brings alot of attention. Doesn't mean when you lose, all is over. Don't forget, a fight like that would be a huge marketing shot for both of em. And there's no way those guys make more money against another contender in the next year.

So Idk who said that, but some time when you think in short term, it pays off in long term.

Bédard's excuse makes me sick. This fight would be good for boxing, we don't know what could happen in the next 2 years. Boxing ain't curling, one of em could get a serious injury and all this moment, this money would be lost forever.
