Not if he is fighting Diaconu, who is 85% hype..Slow Plodding, and not nearly the banger that his fans would have you believe...They hyped Hoye as a great fight, but the bum couldnt win the contender....They tried to Hype Henry who is a clubfighter that I have actaully seen fight in person then he gets beat by Mack, who got blasted by Andrade, who most would tell you is a poor mans version of Margo...

Pascal in my mind would most likely beat Diaconu.

Awsome! I've been wanting Pascal to move up to lightheavey since he lost to Froch. The 168 lb division is too talent rich for him and he's too good of a fighter to not be making some money fighting for belts. I predict he'll win this one. Just hope he can deal well with the jump up in size.

If the fight happens Pascal will beat Diacouno silly.

Diacono is a weak titlist just waiting to lose his belt.

    Smart move by Pascal.

Maybe they should eventually have Pascal fight Miranda at 175lbs since both guys struggle now with 168....That would be a good voluntary defence for Pascal if he gets the WBC belt..

it's a risk to move up so i respect Pascal for that...i haven't seen Diacanu fight so i don't know much about him, but i do know Pascal can fight...

Dude, Diaconu pulled out twice versus Dawson (if I remember correctly) but never did since then. He had a fight schedule vs Branco but the delays all came from Branco's side. I dunno where this joke is coming from.

In fact, Diaconu pulled out once versus Dawson and once against Branco. Both because hand injury (although many think the Romanian promoter had trouble to set a deal and Diaconu justified the delay). Dawson made im lose a lot of time, he even went crying at Sulaiman's office. Branco's promoter just postponed the fight between Diaconu and Branco. Total: too much inactivity.

:rofl I was thinking the exact same thing, until I realized he was referring to Pascal's opponent who went the distance with Mundine. Some people words things in very strange ways.

Agreed. Especially considering the physical advantages he never had at 168. Moving up just further decreases his power, physical strength, and quite possibly his speed as well. He should be moving down to 160 if anything, nowhere else. That may not fit whatever he thinks he has going, but neither will 175.

Diaconu is slower than Froch so Pascal has a chance to take this fight with his speed.
