    McGuinness is poking Reyes in the belly with sewing machine jabs. Reyes keeps pressing in, trying to lean against McGuinness for rest or drop a big right hand air-mailed on a prayer in the direction of McGuinness' chin. Reyes finally connects and stuns McGuinness! Uppercuts on the inside by Reyes, pushing McGuinness back! Moments later, McGuinness drops Reyes with a double left hook to the body and face!! Saved by the bell!

    McGuinness is jabbing Reyes to the ropes. Slapping left hook by McGuinness. Reyes tries for body shots, then claws for a hold of McGuinness' midsection. Instead of finding one, Reyes simply shoves McGuinness with knuckles to his chest. McGuinness keeps coming, hunching over and leaning down on Reyes with his full upper body weight. Body shots and jabs to the jaw by McGuinness. Reyes dances way, stuffing a jab/forearm into McGuinness's stomach as McGuinness lands a hook to the face. Stiff jab by Reyes halts McGuinness for a second. McGuinness drops hammer jabs on him while coming forward. Reyes tries to box on the outside but can't keep away from McGuinness and instead dives in low to clinch. Right hand crashes into the side of McGuinness' head, and Reyes builds into a wide and sloppy combo.

    The commentator gave the 9th to Reyes.

    He had the more dramatic moments, but McGuinness' work was of higher quality overall.

    McGuinness is actually improving his footwork now, ungluing and placing his feet carefully as he moves sideways to make room for his jabs and hooks and then crowds in to lean down on Reyes. A few jabs and rights to the body by Reyes, really loading up and leaving himself open. McGuinness clubs down with his right hand, stunning Reyes. Big right hand from Reyes! Left hook from McGuinness! Big 1-2 by McGuinness, missing and causing them to slam together, nearly bumping foreheads. McGuinness tries to pantomime his jab as they're still pressed together, as though he can crank them out to greater distance by using its leverage against Reyes like a water pump. Reyes misses a right. Short slap-hook on the inside by McGuinness. Reyes dodges a jab and lands a right. Left-right combo by McGuinness. They clinch and infight while hugging. LEFT HOOK KNOCKDOWN BY MCGUINNESS AT THE BELL!! Marlon Wright waves it off, ruling no knockdown.
