Couple of body shots from Adrian. Good one two from Chad pushes Diaconu back. Another good counter one two from chad, only the right lands though. Couple of solid shots from Chad, but they only land on the gloves of Diaconu. Good exchange! Diaconu gets the best of it! Another right from Adrian. A fight is starting to break out. Good couple shots from Chad. Good double right from Dawson at the end of the round. I'm giving it to Chad.

    88-83 Chad

Well, we just got about 20 consecutive seconds. It only took Max 8.5 rounds to notice Dawson pulling straight back close to 2/3 of the time.

Stop trying to make Tommy Hearns look bad by associating him with this! :fire

Drained and tried to fight a terrible plan, Adamek at this point clearly looks like the better fighter.

Mayweather Sr trained him for that fight. I still believe that 2 fight run he had with SR was the best he ever looked, but SR was "too hard" on him in the words of Dawson. A guy like Dawson would frustrate any trainer, especially SR would will let you know if your ****ing up & won't kiss your ass

He beat Adamek for a number of reasons. 1. Adamek was drained hence the move to CW...2. Dawson was more hungrier then than he is now. He shows no motivation, no snap in his punches, no killer instinct and he rarely throws combos. Hes a "potshotter". 3. He had a whole better team than than he does now. Mayweather Sr is a perfect trainer for pot shotting fighters. He knows and teaches good fundamentals of that kind of style. Times change, and Tomasz's time after the loss has been better than Chads time after the win.

Someone should unplug the HBO commentators, put them out of their misery.

It's funny seeing Manny trying to de-snoozify Chad as a fighter. There are some improvements, some mistakes, but I think with time they can do well together as a team.

Dawson waits to counter too much and ends up doing nothing. His traditional defense is great. His offense is great only in little spurts. Between what happens when he goes from defense to offense or offense to defense is the problem. It stalls and so frustrating to watch.

I don't think you can fix that. That is his style.
