Yeah, guess I was crazy for thinking bernard might be in another boring fight. :patsch

Hey, I was wrong, I'm happy to admit. He put on an incredible showing.

that was just a master at his game. incredible. kept his distance, ducked when pascal came with a flurry, picked his spots and fired off quick combs. pascal couldnt do anything but fight dirty. LOL he was totally lost in there because of bhops high ring intelligence. what a schooling. i love it

An all-time great doesn't get knocked down against a guy called Keababi Salem. Even though Calzaghe has great abilities his resume is **** poor. The man's biggest wins are up-comers Lacey and Kessler. Of course a 44 year old Bernard Hopkins victory is also worth bragging about when there's nothing else to look for if you're shameless enough. An all-time great trying to dominate a division aims for unification first like Hopkins, Tszyu, Hagler..etc. Calzaghe settled with a paper title he won beating another old past-it fighter in Eubank. His unification came against up-comers who didn't exist when he was fighting.

If that's an all-time great then this sport must be a joke, go look at the real all-time greats and try to understand what they did then come and try to call Calzaghe an all-time great with a straight face.

Sure. Why not? Pascal and Hopkins make for good fights and good drama. Pascal can learn from X and become a better fighter, and Hopkins can continue to use his superior skill set to do well and sometimes defeat a much younger, and more athletic opponent.

    Win-win scenario, really.

Much as I'd like to see Hopkins-Pascal III, I can't wait to see Hopkins vs. Bute and Dawson. I know it defies logic to root for ol' man Hopkins in those fights, I just feel he can take away their strengths and capitalize on their weaknesses. If anyone can do it, the Master Wizard can. Go BHop! You made me proud today.
