    Probably true, but if Diaconu can hurt and stagger Dawson then it can become important to score, especially if there's a KD.

    Jesus christ, max will really take any opportunity to fellate jones, no? Anyway dawson is doing a pretty good job of guarding everything and controlling the pace.

    All Dawson is doing is controlling his distance and landing the occasional flush punch. His style isn't effective at all, but it scores points / wins rounds. This fight should go the distance....mainly due to the fact that 1. Dawson has no killer instinct and never had, and 2. Diaconu is way to short, has a much shorter reach to get a insdie game going cause Dawson is too "smart" to engage in something he shouldn't have to. In other words, this is gonna be another boring Dawson fight lol.

    Hopefully Dawson can drop Diaconu (or Diaconu drop Dawson though I think that's less likely), otherwsie this has 118+ to 110- written all over it.

    Diaconu has landed some nice punches in this 4th round. He may have won this round.

    Good straight left from dawson about 25 seconds into the 4th. Diaconu finally lands a few jabs, then a right to the body, Chad akknowledges, and returns with numerous shots, then Diaconu lands a few solid awkward shots that get Chad's attention. Dawson back to jabbing on the outside. Good counter left from Diaconu as Chad comes in. Diaconu finally starting to get some shots off. Chad staying tentative behind his jab. Close round, I gave it to Diaconu.

    Dawson is landing the right jab and actually pushing Diaconu back on his heels with it. Diaconu lunges up with some jabs and right hands and just caresses Dawson's chin with them as Chad is backing off and staying tall. Dawson is landing some very hard whips to the body with both fists coming in like wrecking balls from either side. The downside is that his chin is unprotected up close and Diaconu lands a big right! Dawson backs off and Diaconu throws a bit more at him. Dawson gets back on track and jabs him from long range. Diaconu lands another right while Dawson is letting his hands go. Diaconu seems to be awake now, pumping his jab into Dawson's face and throwing some more hard rights behind it. Diaconu is actually circling around Dawson, bobbing and weaving a little.

    39-37 Dawson, change of opinion as I thought about it and the replays were shown, best Diaconu round and he's looking good here to start the 4th.

    Dawson needs to pick up the pace a little bit he got hit some in round 4.

    Dawson lacks a '3rd gear' but i believe he had all the tools to beat pascal in their last fight. Hes got so much power and he makes it look easy. Im a fan but i want to see more intensity from him. You are in a fight dude!
