Round 4

EMB follows cautiously, throwing lead rights to the body and then recoiling back to the outside. Rivera just leaves his weak jab hanging out as he backs all the way around the ring. EMB misses a corkscrew right hand, throwing from too far away. EMB misses a two punch combo but the force of his elbow in Rivera's glutinous gut knocks him into the nearby turnbuckle. Rivera has very poor balance, which could have something to do with being shaped like a candy apple. Rivera clinches EMB around his neck. Rivera runs as EMB tries to steal the round with some late offense...which he does.

Rivera laughs at him, which is creepy.

 

For those not watching, Rivera looks like a morbidly obese Boricua version of Kevin Youkilis.

 

Round 5

Rivera continues to up-jab while backing up. EMB is still proceeding with extreme caution even though Rivera has not shown a lick of power in either hand. Rivera keeps flipping up his southpaw jab but moves a bit less, allowing EMB to reach him and open up with a short combo whereupon he clinches him up. EMB leads with a right and it misses by a bit, along with the follow-up hook. Rivera grabs EMB into a headlock, forcing him to sniff his boobies!!! EWW! Rivera steps past an EMB right hand and ties him up again.

 

There isn't time for all those fights.

Hopkins vs. Pascal will be in a little over an hour.

Malignaggi vs. Lozada over ten rounds is probably next & last for the undercard.
