Pascal, easily on points. The fight is in Canada, and I don't think Cortez is the ref, so Hopkins will not be able to fight dirty as he wants.

Tough one to call. It all depends on how much Hopkins has left. 3-4 years ago i would have easily gone for Hopkins but today i am not to sure.

Hopkins does have more problems with the quicker fighters but Pascal does not have the sound fundamentals like Taylor or the work rate of Calzaghe.

I really rate Pascal but he does tend to fight in bursts which will suit Hopkins and he tends to leap in and over reach with his shots which should play into the hands of Hopkins.

I think this will be a close fight but I really can't say for sure who will win but if i was forced to then i will lean slightly towards Pascal. Youth and the fight taking place in Canada could possibly sway it for Pascal in a close thinker.

This is all about speed vs timing. If Hopkins has his timing right he could counter his way to a victory (or a close controversial defeat) or if Pascal can get in and out before Hopkins can land any counters ala vs Dawson then it will be a easy time for Pascal. It's a 50/50 fight and I'm looking forward to it. I know most people don't like chess match fights, but I and and this is intriguing. I think it will be pretty good. I'm not voting yet, because it's still awhile away and haven't looked really dip into this fight yet. Pascal is a good fighter that nobody seems to give credit for beating Dawson, and Hopkins I still rate highly. Even though he is 46, you can't count him out.

I don't see how a 46 year old man can win against a champion who is 20 years younger and in his prime.

If Hopkins win, we should consider him as one of the greatest ever.

I got my tickets and I am pretty excited to see that fight!

its a hard pick I have been a Hopkins fan since he destroyed Tito when I was a kid but I really like Pascal and wanna see him propelled by this fight and go on to bigger better things

like its either one of my favorites goes out on top or a new star is born

Whats guaranteed is that Hopkins will fight in disgraceful fashion, a la Calzaghe and RJJ 2.

    This poll was surprisingly close.

Have any fence sitters come to a conclusion as of fight week? :think

I would say that Pascal is the man at the moment, but I'm not necessarily convinced of it. At least not based on his performance against Dawson. If he were to take down Dawson in a rematch, or beat Cloud he will be the man beyond a shadow of a doubt.

Beating an ancient Hopkins means very little to me. And while it is a dangerous fight for Pascal, the age thing is a built in disclaimer.

The poll is roughly 60-40 in favor of Pascal, and I'm surprised it's that close.
