Well -- how high are you rating him? I ask because I would pick zuniga over some guys who are far more established than Pascal.

Zuniga has real skill, I dont think Pascal can handle him, he should have stuck with Miranda

Most people know Zuniga from his war with Kelly Pavlik, or when he dismantled the then 26-0 (26 KO) Russian hype job Victor Oganov on Showtime. I think that is where most people have seen Zuniga

Why the **** is Oganov at 13 in the WBO when zuniga beat the boy half to death? That was my point of the thread I made yesterday. Zuniga can't catch a break!

Anyway, ratings aside, I think our poll is pretty accurate as far as odds. With Pascal at 100% it's a 50/50 fight. The winner deserves a money fight, and the loser should not be critisized to much unless it's a total screw up like Vera/Lee or something.

 

I'm a Canadian, but I'm thinking that Zuniga will KO Pascal.

Zuniga is underrated, he exposed Oganov and now he's going to do the same to Pascal. Pavlik said Zuniga's the hardest puncher he's ever fought.

 

Man, this is an excellent step up for Pascal. A very dangerous one too. He has even less fights than Pavlik did when he fought Zuniga.

I really hope Pascal is 100% healthy for this fight, he's going to need both arms in this one. Zuniga can take a shitload of punishment and he's powerful with good stamina.

Zuniga is good, but he is not on Miranda's level. I have seen them spar, and Zuniga hangs in there, but when it get serious, it seems Miranda can take control at any given moment.

But that really has nothing to do with this fight with Pascal. Zuniga has improved and he is really hungry. He has some sick power too. What I think is going to hurt Pascal is Zuniga can can a little wild, but almost a good wild (similar to how Urango was on Wed night). I have seen Pascal get tagged by guys who throw like this. Difference is, Zuniga is even stronger than Pittman and a better all around fighter. If Zuniga catches Pascal with one of his aggressive flurries he will finish him off.

Pascal is going to have to be at his best to pull of this win. If he shows up like he did againt Norman or Pitman he will end up on the canvas and be out. He is going to need speed and his skills working for him to keep Zuniga away and counter him effectively.

From what I have seen lately if Pascal, Zuniga will win this one.

 

Since Miranda isn't gonna get his chance to KO Pascal it'll be Zuniga that does it.

Pascal is an accident waiting to happen. He was wobbled at least 3 times by a journeyman who threw like 2 punches a round. If that guy had been able to follow up Pascal would have been out of there. Zuniga's gonna finish the job and get rid of this fraud. Zuniga's workrate is gonna make it uncomfortable for Pascal and when he sees that he won't be able to outbox him he's gonna fold.
