I'm glad to see this thread getting so much action. Zuniga is one of my favorites. He's under-rated and under-respected.

Zuniga's not that good, really. I cannot see him hurting Pascal either. I'd be surprised if Pascal doesn't win this. Good fight. Pascal GAT to win this one. No ifs, no buts...:deal

Man, you go from saying Dawson is an easy fight for Pavlik to this? :yikes

Not an easy fight but I have Pavlik the clear favourite over Dawson.

Why? You think Zuniga is a dangerous, great fighter?

I think he's a good fighter and definitely dangerous. Pavlik always says he gave him one of the hardest fights of his career and described Zuniga as a smaller version of him. Strong, hard-hitting and tires people out.

This is a good fight for Pascal to show us what he's made of.

    imo

I agree that this fight will show us what Pascal is made of - it's a good fight; both are well matched against each other. Still, if Pascal loses this, he's going nowhere/

    Zuniga by late round TKO.
Pascal gets him way too much.

17 of zuniga's 20 wins came by knock out. He caught Pavlik with a left hook, and Pavlik hit the floor like ya shot him! He landed on his ass, and slid a good 3 feet across the ring! Kelly was hurt bad enough that zuniga kicked his ass in the 2nd round. Pav rallied and won the fight, but to this day he says Zuniga hits harder than Miranda or Taylor. Do you honestly think Pascal can stand up to that kind of firepower?

I saw that fight. I think Zuniga is better at MW than at SMW. I'm not overrating Pascal but if he cannot get past Zuniga at 168...well...he's not going anywhere.

I'm going to review that fight and Pascal's latest and write back.:good

How about the whole fight. I have only seen round 1 and it looked good. From what i heard this was a back and forth brawl with Zunigas corner stopping the fight.

Yeah, you're both right. This is a 50/50 fight. Zuniga can do this if Pascal doesn't keep a tight defence.:good

Good fight. Look forward to it. :good

Why not? Pittman hurt him twice and he's not a puncher.

Yeah, you're right. He can definitely hurt Pascal. Got that one wrong. Rewatched the first 2-3 rounds of the Pavlik fight and looked at some Pascal and he is there to be hit, particularly by someone as unpredictable as Zuniga.

50/50, 55/45 for Zuniga? Something like that. The problem for Zuniga is Pascal's **** poor performance against Pittman. Even if Pascal comes in 100%, with no further shoulder problems, Zuniga will not get much credit for beating him.

I would really like to see him drop back to 160, and make some good change beating up the Duddys, Lees, and Lorenzos of the division. Plus I think he can beat Sturm, and this will start another ****-storm, but I also think he'd give Abraham a very difficult night.
