@ 175, who does everyone think wins? I dont think jean can make 168 anymore, and I think bute is a big supermiddleweight that could fight at 175. who takes it/
i don't think pascal has a scheduled fight...he dislocated his shoulder against diaconu and he isn't making a return till june 2010
yeah most people are basing their opinions off of Froch-Pascal- reasonably so, it was an extremely memorable fight and most people haven't seen many of Pascal's fights after. He's altered his style a bit, he still holds the hand low, he's still a little reckless, but when you watch him you see a guy who's looking to counter now more than trade. He's quick, he's deceptively slick, and he's got power.......@175 I would personally slightly favor him over Bute. Bute's a big smw, but lets see if he can bring his power back up the ladder....at 168 though Pascal is toast. I think this statement kinda undermines the entire Super 6, but the Bute who cracked arguably the best chin in boxing a few months ago could probably beat any SMW in the world.
I think Dawson-Cloud would be a better match....I think Dawson displays his full skill-set when he fights a guy like Adamek or Cloud who comes forward looking to trade. Pascal is a guy who can trade and can play counterpuncher, but against a boxer like Dawson he'll definitely choose the latter.
Pascal-Dawson is Pascal's nex fight, but not until June at the earliest. Pascl and Dawson both beat Cloud, probably with relative ease. Pascal cant make 168 anymore, hence why he isn't in the super 6 even; he was invited. At 175 its very close and Pascal has changed his style and improved tenfold since the Froch fight, where even then I think he could've won but chose a shoot-out with Froch. Both fighters are two of my current favourites but I'm taking Pascal, just.
