    a big fight at last!

I am a bute convert, such a down to earth guy. Rare event - a character quality that a boxer posseses that everyone should aim for in life.

Well, they are talking a lot of the fight in the media but Montreal is a big city so it's not like if it was the only thing happening this week end. But for sure the biggest media cover I've seen since Leonard-Duran at the Olympic stadium in 1980.

My own atmosphere is becoming very hot!

I'll try to go to the weigh in early this afternoon. It's the best part lf the week before a fight. You can sense the tension in the fighters. This one should be pretty exciting, with loud supporters on each side.

I really wanted to go to the weigh-in today also but I have to stay in Ottawa for some work obligations. Also, there is a big fight night in our Little Italy district hoested by our local Beaver Boxing club which I can't miss.

So little faith you have in Pascal's chin MrTragic?
That means Bute might end it quickly.

Only one of the two ever got his chin absolutely shattered, that one was Bute in his only significant fight.

Pascal must do it, or he knows his career is over with.

The winner won't go on to do anything at 175lbs, they'd get smushed by either Stevenson or Kovalev.

But, for Pascal, this is a must win fight, Bute has already been exposed on world level.

A win for Bute could mean a fight with either Hopkins/Stevenson or a rematch with Froch.

I think Pascal will stop Bute. (But I hope Bute wins)

Haven't been here in a while but still lots of familiar names I see.

I expect Pascal to at some point rock Bute and shake his fragile confidence. As long as it's a good and exciting fight, that's all I'm hoping.

If Bute can manage to pull it off, expect Hopkins to want a fight with him ASAP.

On the other hand if Pascal gets the ''W'', he'll be looking for an immediate belt and since Hops feels that chapter's closed, it would be Kovalev or Shumenov vs Pascal, that could essentially set up a big clash with Stevenson for all the marbles early in 2015. A rematch with Bute would only happen once Pascal loses.

No matter who wins, Stevenson won't be next.

I got Bute as an 8-5 underdog in this fight. Was surprised at the odds. Seen both a couple of times each, and Bute seems to be the classier boxer, notwithstanding getting the crap kicked out of him by Froch. Still think Bute has enough to outbox Pascal in this one. Of course, me betting on him is the kiss of death
