    Let's make this interesting....

You think Pascal could withstand a clean counter body shot while he swings wildly and is exhaling?

Or you think Bute can withstand a barrage of aggressive very powerful shots, everywhere and stay composed and on his "bicycle"

Bute will be running the whole time, and will avoid the ropes/corners at all costs! Grachev fight was training in regards to being on the ropes and fighting back, but his came plan is to avoid at all costs and be elsuive. He will also try to stay and keepo distance and be the general of the bout.

I also have a feeling that Pascal's stamina is much better now. Also, supplement wise, he will be on anything legal possible that will boost him.

I dont think Pascal was untrained, so his stamina problem is because of his excess muscle mass which consumes more than normal energy and style of fighting. So I will give Pascal pretty much if not less chances I give Bute to improve his punch-resistence, about 5-10%. Bute has a chance of greatly improving his punch-resistence if by any chance he had lost his weight in a bad way, or really struggled to do so. Before his last two fights he wasn't getting rocked that easily so there's a chance that at 175 he will take the punches better, but realistically is small. Pascal had stamina problems against Diaconu, Hopkins, Dawson and Froch even when he was at 168, so it's even smaller chances for that to improve.
The funny thing is that both fighters might have stamina problems starting with 10th round not early than the 9th tho at least not Bute. He will need to get back on his bicycle and use a lot of movements of the upper body, also create faints all the time. So he might end up using a lot of supplementary energy to be in a relatively safe place.

Just read an article were Stephan Larouche revealed that Bute is already under 175, contrary to what happen in prior fights where Lucian was losing lot's of weight in the last week. It's also saying that Bute had 30 days of harsh training resulting in him coming down somewhere around 4 pounds under the LH weight limit, with.
I remember before the Froch fight I read an article in Romanian press that he had left 6.6 lbs to lose 1 day. So I guess it's good news, just wondering why he didn't put enough muscle on tho, if on the 7th(more than 10 days) he is already 4 lbs under.

I got Pascal but hope the Bute wins. I have a feeling his best days are behind him though.

What did Bute customarily weigh a month out from a super middle contest?

From what I remember somewhere between 182-185. I think was only once slightly over 185. He gets pretty chubby between fights.

Bute had to lose 13 lbs in 9 days for the Joppy fight in 2008
He had to lose 6.6 lbs in the last day for the Froch fight.I remember reading it was a schedule that he should lose them until 16:30 or something close to that, but ended up having a sleepless night trying to get rid of the excesses weight.
Had to lose 9 lbs in the last week and 5.5 lbs in the last 4 days for the Mendy fight. Back then he said the last 2 lbs were the hardest, came only 0.1 lbs under the limit.
4 Days before the Magee fight Bute was 4.5 lbs over the limit.

This are facts that I remember. I hope he does him good not having to lose weight like that anymore. He never had an iron chin, but never looked more fragile than his last two fights so I'm hoping this is the problem, his body getting old not being able to recover as fast as once was from the drastic weight loss in the last moment.

I head TVA is doing 3 episodes (360 camp type) on Bute vs Pascal. Like they did against Mendy when he gone for the his first title fight in Romania. Also heard the first episode has aired on January 7th so if anyone can help with a link I'll appreciate it.
