Adonis Stevenson beat Jermain Mackay by TKO5. He was still hurt from the 4th and almost got knocked down by a pawing jab by Stevonson. Very impressive performance.

Now for Jean Pascal v Branco.

Do they need to wait for the Canadian broadcast to start? Or no, because it's a PPV?

Pascal was extremely impressive in beating Diaconu and he should win tonight although I'd imagine that Branco, with all of his experience and guile, can at least manage to extend the fight and make Pascal earn his paycheck if nothing else. I say Pascal TKO10.

This is how it should go. But I got a bad feeling for Pascal tonight, for some reason.

I'm guessing you're basing that on Branco being a wily veteran. Pascal says he trained hard and is taking the fight serious so I say the title stays with him. Don't get me wrong, Branco's not a pushover but I'd venture to say that whatever he's got left in the tank just won't be enough over the course of 12 rounds. Even when Pascal gets hurt he has excellent survival skills and powers of recovery.

Yeah he does have good survival skills. I mean thetwo guys that rockedhim were season fighters with good finishing instincts and he managed to survive both of them. But in niether of these fights was he openly talking about ending it early. Thats a lot of bragging and if there is one thing boxing fan's know its that when power punchers (i.e. Victor Ortiz) go looking for the knockout too much its when bad thigns happen. Or they're just plain less affective.
