Jean Pascal vs. Tavoris Cloud

Most favor Pascal, but personally I'd favor Cloud.

I like Pascal. He's the faster man; hands, feet, and head. I think he can take Tavoris.

I think Pascal as well. I know Cloud is a beltholder now, but I hope they move him cautiously for a few more fights. He did well against Woods, but I think he needs a bit more time before he's ready for the big boys.

 

Same way I see it. I see Cloud as an exciting, tough fighter, but he still needs some polish- and the only way that can happen is if he stays active. I truly hope we get to see him fight in the next 4 months or so; he's the kind of fighter who needs to be in the ring and his game (and his pocketbook) would benefit from it.

to be quite honest i really wouldnt be shocked if tarver is next. hes still probably highly rated by ibf and theyre both from florida. theres the match up right there.

giving tarver age still i think he would fair far better than woods.

i think it would be interesting match if tarver shows up ready. i like to see him slip in that counter left.

what about roy? another man from florida coming off a win.

 

Cloud is an accident waiting to happen, he's one of the rare fighters I actually dislike. He attacked Woods when he was trying to touch gloves and he pretends like he's some caged animal. I can't wait for someone to absolutely school him, isn't Jeff Lacy recent enough that we know not to overhype these guys? I think Pascal is too young to take him to school but I would still favour him in a wide UD.
